A little help goes a long way

For the things you use every day.

We start with what you already have and what you need it to do. Sometimes that means fixing a connection. Sometimes it means planning a new setup.

From your first message

Here’s how we’ll help.

You tell us what’s happening. We’ll work out the next step together.

Tell us what you need
  1. Tell us what’s happening

Describe the problem or the plan in your own words. No diagnostic quiz, no account to create.

  2. Approve a written scope and quote

You see what is included, what it costs, and what is not covered. Nothing starts until you approve it.

  3. We do the work and leave notes

At your home or office, at a time agreed with you. You get a walkthrough and written notes to keep.

Good work starts with trust

Your home. Your equipment.
You stay in charge.

You approve a written scope and quote before we start, and we don’t go beyond it without your sign-off.

Written quote first

You see the scope and the cost before anything starts.

No surprises on the day

Nothing goes beyond the agreed scope without your sign-off.

Your accounts stay yours

You sign in yourself. We never ask for passwords.

Notes after every visit

A walkthrough, and written notes of what changed.

    Straight answers

Anything else, ask in your request. Plain language is fine.

    Ask a question
    Do you cover my area?

Lakewire works across Chicago’s western and southwestern suburbs. The coverage map shows where visits are centred. Include your town or ZIP in your request and we will confirm.

When can I arrange a visit?

Visits are by appointment. Once we understand what you need, we agree a time that suits you. Sending a request does not confirm an appointment.

    What will it cost?

The first step is to understand the issue and the equipment involved. You then get a scope and quote to approve. Any equipment purchases or changes to the work are discussed before you agree to them.

    Should I buy equipment first?

No. Tell us what you already have. Compatibility and any recommended purchases are reviewed as part of agreeing the work.

Can you help after the setup?

Follow-up troubleshooting and planned improvements can be arranged by appointment. Each visit has an agreed scope, and any ongoing support terms are discussed individually. This is scheduled support, with no emergency response or uptime guarantee.

You can start with “it’s not working.”

A few sentences are enough. We’ll ask about anything else we need to know.
